Dr. Mustafa Saad was born and raised in Najaf, Iraq, where he experienced firsthand the human toll of war and destruction. Those early challenges shaped his lifelong commitment to helping others in need and fueled his passion for healthcare.
Dr. Saad came to the United States to pursue his education, earning his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). At UCLA, he was recognized with multiple honors and merit-based scholarships and held leadership positions in student organizations. During dental school, he published cancer research and developed a deep passion for surgery, which led him to specialize in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
He trained in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and Cook County Health in Chicago (2023–2025), a prestigious program known for their rigorous surgical experience. During this time, he gained extensive hands-on training in trauma management and developed a heavy surgical case log in dentoalveolar procedures such as extractions, bone grafting, dental implants, full-arch reconstructions, and wisdom teeth removal.
Dr. Saad is an active member of the American Dental Association, Northwest Indiana Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and Indiana Dental Association. He is committed to bringing advanced surgical care and implant dentistry to the community, with a focus on improving function, comfort, and quality of life for his patients.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Saad is a proud cat owner and a passionate solo traveler who has explored over 30 countries. He enjoys house music, exploring art and history, especially the Napoleonic and World War eras and staying active in Chicago.
